Bartlett Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten

Parents are an integral part of the Bartlett Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten family. We find that communication between parents and teachers - as well as participation from parents - assists teachers in providing a positive learning atmosphere for the children. Here are some of the ways BBPS involves students' families:

Birthday Celebration

Each child is honored, and their family provides a birthday snack for the whole class to enjoy.

Super Star Day of the Week

Each child in the Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten is spotlighted along with their family.

Parties

Harvest time, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Easter are celebrated with parents-directed parties in all classes.

Grandparents' Day

Special activities are planned for the grandparents of the children in Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten classes.

Field Trips

Each class has a variety of age-appropriate trips and learning activities that parents are invited to attend.

Programs

The entire preschool prepares a Christmas program and an "end of the year" Spring program for the families to enjoy.

Substitutes

Parents who meet licensing requirements for substitute teachers are invited to serve in this position as needed. (Substitutes receive pay at the end of the teaching period.)

Conferences

Parents and teachers meet at least once a year (in January) to talk specifically about their child's progress. Conferences may be scheduled by the parent, teacher, or director whenever needed.
